3D Dermaforce advanced Microneedling/RF is an advanced method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body’s natural healing process to encourage collagen production of the dermis resulting in anti-ageing and skin tightening, however it can also be used to treat concerns such as hooded eyelids, sagging jowls, marionette lines, necklace lines, acne scarring, pitted skin, stretchmarks, pigmentation, sun damage, uneven skin texture and to improve skin laxity.

As we age, our skin becomes less effective at producing collagen and elastin. These are both vital for the strength and elasticity of the skin’s structure. As they deplete, this results in a loss of plumpness, fine lines and wrinkles become more apparent, the skin appears thinner and even crepy in areas with hollowing to the cheeks and a loss of definition of the facial contours.

During the 3D Dermaforce treatment, a precise radio frequency energy is delivered through microfine needles. By using insulated needles, it allows the targeting of both the deep dermis and epidermis layers of the skin.

The radio-frequency wave penetrates the basal melanocyte barrier, heating the collagen fibers in the dermis to 55°C-65°C. The combination of the creation of channels in the skin using needles and the effect of the radiofrequency thermal energy stimulates the body’s natural healing process, and when cell turnover increases as the body heals, this results in a dramatically improved production of collagen and elastin in the targeted area.

How many treatments will I need?

To see optimum results it is recommended to have an initial course of 2 to 3 treatments. The individual treatments should be taken at least 4 to 6 weeks apart. Should you wish to have further treatments, a single annual maintenance booster treatment is recommended. How long will my results last?

The results are permanent. The condition of your skin will only decline with the natural ageing process and other factors such as health issues that effect the skin or a lack of skincare.

How long does each treatment take?

It is recommended to allow an hour and a half for your first appointment to include your arrival, consultation, completion of your record, the treatment itself and payment. For each consequent treatment an hour is sufficient.

Can I have more than one area treated at once?

Absolutely. You can treat as many areas as you like but there must be a lapse of 4 to 6 weeks before you retreat a specific area. Areas that can be treated include: Face, Jowls, Neck, Décolleté, Arms, Abdomen, Legs and Buttocks.

Does the treatment hurt?

The 3D Dermaforce is the most comfortable form of RF Microneedling available. The gold plated needles allow a smooth, gentle application of the microfine needles and also ensure metal allergies are not of concern. The method of application combines a gentle vacuum that supports the skin during treatment to ensure precision and total control. There is zero drag or damage to the skin unlike with derma rollers and pen microneedling devices, this results in the treatment being far more comfortable and the healing time being greatly reduced and improved. This is the most advanced and sophisticated form of microneedling for your absolute comfort, safety and satisfaction. Most individuals experience very little sensation at all, and are surprised at how comfortable the treatment is. what results can i expect?

Although amazing results can be seen following a one-off treatment, a course of three treatments is typically recommended for optimal results, with an optional one or two annual maintenance treatments per year to maintain results. Results vary dependent on factors such as lifestyle, general health of the skin, underlying health conditions, how you care for your skin at home and your body’s healing process.
